This is a "before" picture. The house originally had wooden shake shingles that we removed and installed regular shingles.
This "after" picture shows the new shingles, a fresh coat of white paint, and a porch added at the front door.
We hung, finished, textured, primed and painted the drywall on the walls and ceilings in this basement. Installed the flooring and fireplace. The kitchen area is at the far end of this photo. The cabinets and cupboards were custom ordered and we were waiting for them to come in at the time of this photo.
Installed new flooring, removed a section of the ceiling that was a drop down and replaced it with new drywall, finished it, retextured so that it all blended together, and repainted the walls and ceiling. The back wall contained a fireplace which we removed and patched with new drywall, then primed and painted.
The walls needed some patchwork; therefore, the drywall was fixed, primed, and painted. The old floor was replaced with this plank flooring. Another drop ceiling was removed and replaced with drywall. The drywall in this area was finished, retextured, and painted so it would blend nicely together.
This family room had a big stone and wood fireplace surround. It was removed and this new up-to-date style was installed. The old wood flooring was also removed and replaced with this new floor that can be seen in the photo. The old floor was replaced to give it an updated style and because it was getting sun bleached through the glass doors. This room had some touch up "mudding" and painting done on the walls to cover up small dents here and there.
